Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lurk Fillsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fillsson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hill circles away.
Fillsson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hill as he avoids it easily.

Hill gets a takedown into half guard.
Fillsson pushes Hill off looking to stand but Hill dives back in and keeps control.
Fillsson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fillsson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hill pulls his head out easily.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fillsson on the ground.
Hill wants to stand up but Fillsson has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Hill is thwarting Fillsson's attempts to control the position.
Fillsson tries to get to full guard but Hill has control of the leg.
Fillsson is trying to maintain the position but Hill is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hill turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hill manages to end up in side control.

Fillsson is not content to let Hill control the position.
Fillsson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hill.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fillsson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hill wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hill passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hill is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fillsson's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hill decides to stand back up. Hill steps back and let's Fillsson get back to his feet.

Hill looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fillsson is looking to control Hill's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fillsson avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hill drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fillsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Fillsson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fillsson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hill fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fillsson, pushing him back against the cage.

Hill is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fillsson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fillsson swings around for an armbar but Hill sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fillsson's guard.

Hill decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fillsson, up you get!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hill pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hill looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Fillsson is looking to improve his position but Hill isn't that keen on the idea.

Dan Hill dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hill gets a clinch.
Hill goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fillsson prevents it.

Hill gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Fillsson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hill is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fillsson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hill's back instead.

Dan Hill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fillsson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hill is defending well though. Fillsson let's go of the attempt for now.

Fillsson has his foot on Hill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hill works his way back into a safe position though.
Dan Hill is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hill has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fillsson is proving hard to escape from.

Hill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fillsson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hill has managed to get both his arms back between Fillsson's legs - danger averted.

I would just about give that final round to Lurk Fillsson.
