Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Geistman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr.. Geistman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Twist. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Geistman!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geistman moves into the clinch.
Fox blocks an uppercut.
A short right from Fox.
Fox wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Geistman has him pressed against the cage.
Geistman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fox smiles and moves away.
Geistman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fox, pushing him back against the cage.
Fox avoiding damage as Geistman throws knees to the body.
Geistman decides to pull guard.
Geistman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fox is aware though and is defending well.
Geistman wants to sweep but no luck.
Fox wants to control from the top but Geistman keeps moving.

Geistman has his foot on Fox's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fox works his way back into a safe position though.
Fox tries to stand but Geistman is controlling from the bottom.
Geistman is trying to keep Fox in close.
Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Geistman on the ground.
Geistman has a closed guard, preventing Fox from standing up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Geistman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fox defends well.
Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Geistman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Geistman has a closed guard, preventing Fox from standing up.
Geistman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fox passes into half guard.

Geistman wants to control but Fox is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fox is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Geistman is looking for a sweep. Fox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Geistman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Geistman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Geistman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fox is staying active underneath Geistman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Geistman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Geistman is trying to control. Fox wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fox is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Geistman dominated that round.
That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fox does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fox swats away the attempt to clinch by Geistman.
Geistman throws a head kick that misses.
Geistman moves in looking to clinch but Fox pushes him off.
Geistman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Brian Fox has been cut.
Fox blocks the body kick.
Fox swinging wilding here.
Geistman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A lazy body kick from Fox
and Geistman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Geistman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Geistman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Geistman stalling away here and it's allowed Fox to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Geistman trying to control but Fox is working from the bottom.
Fox uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fox closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Geistman to the mat! Geistman manages to get full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fox preventing the sweep.
Fox got a little sloppy there for a moment and Geistman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fox has managed to get both his arms back between Geistman's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fox won't allow Geistman to sweep him here.

Fox stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Geistman closes the distance and clinches up with Fox, looking for a takedown. Geistman pushes Fox against the cage but Fox circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Geistman missing with a left hand there. Fox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brian Fox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Geistman is breathing heavily.
Geistman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Geistman wants it to stay on the feet.
Geistman looks to land a right hand but Fox moved out of range.
Geistman throws a nice looking combination but Fox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Geistman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Fox is trying to keep Geistman in close.
Geistman's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Scott Geistman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Brian Fox's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Geistman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Geistman moves away from the strike by Fox.
Fox slips under a jab.
Geistman tries to clinch up
and Fox counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Geistman with a poor takedown
and Fox counters with a nice uppercut.
Geistman wants to clinch up but Fox keeps it at a distance.
Geistman misses with a looping left.
Geistman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Geistman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fox sprawls well. Fox wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Geistman gets slowly back to his feet.

Geistman throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Fox to counter with a crisp jab.
Geistman moves out of range as Fox strikes.
Geistman throws a head kick but Fox moves out of range.
Geistman is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fox.
It looks like Scott Geistman has been cut.
Fox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Geistman tries to avoid it but Fox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Geistman to the ground. Geistman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Scott Geistman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Geistman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fox throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fox just misses with a punch to the body.
Fox misses with a looping left.

and Fox counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Geistman's guard now.
Scott Geistman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
