Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Adeleye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sergius Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adeleye's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Last of the Mohicans. Serra has chosen Drowning Pool- The Game as his entrance music. sergius Serra has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nelson Adeleye's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nelson Adeleye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, sergius Serra! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serra shoots in and drives through. Adeleye sprawls well. Adeleye scores with a punch to the head. Serra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adeleye's waist but Adeleye gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Serra off to one side. Adeleye showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Serra.
Serra tries to clinch up but Adeleye circles away and keeps his distance. A shot to de liver by Adeleye. Beautiful body shot. Adeleye feints and as Serra raises his hands in defense, Adeleye changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Adeleye pushing down on Serra's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Serra avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adeleye. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adeleye keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Adeleye prevents Serra from standing back up.
Serra looks gassed! Adeleye passes to full mount! Adeleye moves to the back position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Adeleye not allowing Serra to control his hands. Adeleye tightening his grip on Serra, looking for the choke. Adeleye looking for the choke but no joy. Serra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adeleye. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra prevents Adeleye from getting a body triangle. Serra fending off the submission attempt from Adeleye. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adeleye missing with strikes from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serra rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Adeleye is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Serra defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Serra is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Adeleye wants to control but Serra is keeping him busy. Serra tries to roll over but Adeleye keeps him under control. Serra wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Adeleye takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Adeleye looks to land a combination. Serra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like sergius Serra has been cut. Adeleye lands a slapping body shot.
Adeleye ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Serra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Adeleye counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adeleye seems to be working for a kimura but Serra defends the submission attempt. Adeleye thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Serra is trying to maintain the position but Adeleye is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adeleye is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Adeleye wants to free his trapped foot but Serra is holding on for dear life with his legs. Adeleye prevents Serra from standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Adeleye lands with an overhand left. Adeleye scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Serra takes one to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nelson Adeleye dominated that round. The cut man is working on sergius Serra's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Adeleye. Serra pushes Adeleye away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Adeleye gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Adeleye in side control, just content to control the action for now. Adeleye tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adeleye has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Serra tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Adeleye trying to control but he's not successful this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Serra is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adeleye prevents Serra from getting the reversal. Adeleye is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Serra is forced to tap! Great finish!
