Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biggie Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aron Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Aron Rogers enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Biggie Smalls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aron Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Rogers is squirming around, avoiding Smalls's attempts to control the action.
Smalls is really struggling to control Rogers but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Smalls is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rogers has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rogers tries to reverse the position but Smalls maintains control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smalls cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Smalls is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rogers can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smalls has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rogers's face.

Smalls is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rogers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Smalls lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Rogers pulls Smalls in close to prevent any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smalls moves in looking to clinch but Rogers pushes him off.
Rogers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smalls lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Biggie Smalls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers keeps the fight on the outside.

Smalls closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rogers did well to prevent Smalls getting side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smalls connects with a nice short shot to Rogers's temple.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Smalls looks to land a combination. Rogers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smalls lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rogers backwards.
Rogers is pressed up against the ropes. Smalls has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rogers down to the mat. Rogers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Smalls tries to land a leg kick but Rogers saw it coming and moves away.
Smalls tries to clinch up.
Smalls is looking to chop away at Rogers's legs.
Rogers stuffs the takedown.
Smalls is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rogers can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Smalls is looking to clinch.

Smalls gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rogers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Smalls manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Smalls is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rogers has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rogers!
Smalls on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smalls tries to get out of the position.

Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smalls swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smalls has his foot on Rogers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogers works his way back into a safe position though.
Biggie Smalls is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Smalls not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Smalls is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rogers defends well.

Smalls is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Smalls has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Biggie Smalls overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Smalls is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Smalls escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Smalls throws a chopping leg kick but Rogers manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Rogers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rogers.

Aron Rogers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smalls has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
