Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman misses with an uppercut. Dawn saw that one coming.
Dawn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackman.
No joy there for Dawn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Dawn misses.
Dawn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dawn misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackman jabs at Dawn's body.
Some wild striking there from Dawn.
Dawn slips a jab and a cross from Jackman.
Jackman forces Dawn back against the cage and clinches.
Jackman keeps control of Dawn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jackman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dawn has him pressed against the cage.
Dawn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackman clinches up with Dawn and pushes him back against the cage.
Jackman is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Jackman is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Dawn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dawn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dawn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackman's guard.

Jackman has his feet on Dawn's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Dawn falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jackman counters by moving into the clinch.
Dawn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dawn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackman has him pressed against the cage.
Dawn wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dawn manages to break the clinch.
Dawn throws a head kick but Jackman moves out of range.
Jackman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dawn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dawn pushes Jackman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jackman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jackman avoids the strikes from the bottom by Dawn.

Jackman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Red Dawn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dawn is keen to just control but Jackman is a slippery customer.
Dawn passes into side control, despite Jackman's attempt to control the position.
Jackman taking punishment in the form of punches.

Dawn misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jackman can't do much from the bottom here.
Jackman looks to move to half guard but instead Dawn has passed into mount! Damn!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jackman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Huge Jackman will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jackman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackman looks for a takedown but Dawn sprawls well.
Dawn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jackman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jackman wants to control but Dawn postures up.
Dawn connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jackman some visible discomfort.
Dawn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dawn throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Jackman trying his best to control but Dawn has mounted him.
Jackman tries to improve his position but Dawn has taken his back! Dawn has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jackman tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dawn pushes Jackman away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
