Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack MeHoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Coleman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack MeHoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MeHoff feints and as Coleman raises his hands in defense, MeHoff changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Coleman can't keep his opponent in guard - MeHoff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Coleman tries to kick MeHoff off in order to stand up. MeHoff Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

MeHoff wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Coleman, who protects the arm well.
Coleman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but MeHoff has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Coleman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
MeHoff moves into full guard.
Coleman wants to stand but MeHoff has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

MeHoff might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

MeHoff pushes Coleman off and scrambles back to his feet.
Coleman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MeHoff could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
MeHoff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes.

MeHoff gets to his feet. Coleman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Scott Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MeHoff shoots in for a takedown but Coleman shows good takedown defense.
Coleman moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Coleman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Jack MeHoff has been cut.
Coleman throws a series of punches but MeHoff avoids them all with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coleman looks to land a combination but MeHoff avoids it well.

The fight stays on the outside here - MeHoff looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Coleman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Coleman's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Coleman duly obliges.
Coleman looks to land a combination but MeHoff avoids it well.

Coleman tries to bum rush MeHoff with a series of wild strikes but MeHoff uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
MeHoff tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
MeHoff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack MeHoff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coleman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MeHoff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coleman feints and then cracks MeHoff's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow MeHoff down.
Coleman throws a combination. MeHoff tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Coleman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coleman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MeHoff.

Coleman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
MeHoff tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

MeHoff shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Coleman is trying to defend but MeHoff finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

MeHoff trying to control the action but Coleman is working from the bottom.

MeHoff wants to work for an arm triangle but Coleman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Coleman wants to get back to his feet.
MeHoff works his way into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Coleman is trying to buck MeHoff off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MeHoff tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
MeHoff trying to control but Coleman is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Coleman is trying to stand up.

MeHoff lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Coleman is trying to stand.
MeHoff raining down shots from the mount!

MeHoff wants to finish this one by submission but Coleman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from MeHoff.
Coleman tries to hold on but MeHoff postures up.
Coleman is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
MeHoff controlling the pace for now.
Coleman has given up his back here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
MeHoff lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by MeHoff.
MeHoff is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Coleman up.
MeHoff gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Coleman is trying to get back to his feet but MeHoff has full control of the position and if anything, Coleman has just worked his way into a worse spot.

MeHoff is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Coleman won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips MeHoff off his unconscious opponent!
