Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Von Rickenhausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Breed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley Breed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rickenhausen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Von Rickenhausen has been cut.

Breed gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Breed stalls.
Breed is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rickenhausen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Breed slowing the pace effectively.
Rickenhausen tries to score a body lock takedown but Breed shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Rickenhausen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Breed pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rickenhausen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Breed's guard.
Breed is looking to stand back up but Rickenhausen counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Breed.
Rickenhausen is taking a breather. Breed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Breed tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Rickenhausen manages to move to mount!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rickenhausen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Breed is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Breed tries to hold on but Rickenhausen postures up.

Rickenhausen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Breed might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rickenhausen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Rickenhausen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rickenhausen avoids the attempt from Breed to control.

The cut man is working on Von Rickenhausen's cut.
That's time! Rickenhausen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Breed instigates a clinch.
Breed stalls.
Breed throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rickenhausen blocks it with crossed arms.
Breed tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rickenhausen avoids it.

Breed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Breed scoring well with a low kick there.
Breed connects with a high kick.
Rickenhausen shoots in looking for a takedown. Breed tries to sprawl out of it but Rickenhausen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Breed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Breed leaves Rickenhausen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Breed stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Von Rickenhausen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Breed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice takedown defense from Breed. No joy for Rickenhausen on that attempt.

and Rickenhausen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Breed's guard now.

Breed wants to stand and escape but Rickenhausen is having none of it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Breed. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rickenhausen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rickenhausen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Breed to score with a decent uppercut.

Breed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rickenhausen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rickenhausen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Breed scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rickenhausen manages to mount him!
