PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wong Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ling throws out the jab.
Johnny Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bravo tries to clinch but Ling is having none of it.

Ling throws some wild stikes that Bravo manages to avoid easily.

Ling postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bravo looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ling in particular looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Johnny Bravo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wong Ling overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bravo wants to get back to his feet but Ling is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wong Ling.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ling, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
