Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Mathews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mickey Mouse will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Mouse!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mathews looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mouse parries the strikes from Mathews easily there. Mathews is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mouse to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mathews, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
