Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Heat it up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reggie Franklin! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson throws a hook but Franklin blocks it. Peterson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Peterson jabs Franklin right on the nose. Franklin blinks but takes it well. Peterson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Peterson is looking to clinch. Peterson scores with a three punch combo!
Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by Franklin. Peterson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Peterson misses with a takedown attempt - Franklin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Peterson is looking to land body kicks. Franklin circles away from the clinch attempt and Franklin counters with an outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franklin tries to clinch up but Peterson circles away and keeps his distance. Peterson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peterson throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Franklin counters with a thumping low kick. Franklin on the wrong end of a nice hook. Franklin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Franklin moves out of range as Peterson strikes. Peterson lands a jab. Peterson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Franklin counters with a single leg into guard. Peterson didn't expect that. Franklin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Franklin landing some decent shots from guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peterson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Franklin regains half guard. Franklin is trying to maintain the position but Peterson is very close to passing his half guard. Peterson is pressing down on Franklin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Franklin is holding on for now. Franklin moves into full guard.
Franklin has control of Peterson's left arm, preventing Peterson from doing any damage. Peterson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close round but I would say that David Peterson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

David Peterson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Peterson throws a leg kick that is checked and Franklin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Franklin. Franklin lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Reggie Franklin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Franklin connects with a nice short shot to Peterson's temple. Franklin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Peterson is just riding it out for now. Franklin eventually gives up the hold. Franklin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Franklin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Peterson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
