The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Healy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ivan Baikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Cian Healy has been cut.
Baikov feints and then cracks Healy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Healy down.

and Healy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Baikov's guard now.
Baikov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Healy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Baikov lands a left and a right that send Healy crashing to the mat, dazed. Baikov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That has opened up Cian Healy's cut even more.

Baikov throws out a loose jab but Healy uses good head movement to avoid it.

Baikov looks to score with a jab to the body but Healy is just out of range.
Baikov swings for the body but Healy moves out of range.
Healy misses with a series of wild punches.
Healy takes a kick to the side of the head.

Healy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Baikov can't do much from the bottom here.
Healy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Healy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Baikov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Baikov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cian Healy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Healy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ivan Baikov dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Healy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Baikov throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Healy is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
