Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Boden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boden shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but Boden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hansen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hansen.

Boden shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Boden wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving.

Hansen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boden not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Boden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Boden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Boden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hansen manages to avoid it.

Hansen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boden napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hansen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Hansen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Mac Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mac Hansen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Boden has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hansen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

I would just about give that final round to Mac Hansen.
