Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Sukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukka Lehtinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Sukari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jukka Lehtinen! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sukari bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sukari has knee on belly momentarily but Lehtinen bucks him off and regains half guard. Sukari tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lehtinen controls his leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lehtinen regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sukari accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lehtinen can do anything to dispel that myth. Lehtinen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sukari would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lehtinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sukari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sukari pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lehtinen is keeping the position for now. Lehtinen keeping moving, preventing Sukari from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sukari is really struggling to control Lehtinen but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sukari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lehtinen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sukari somewhat. Lehtinen fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sukari looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sukari changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lehtinen tries to avoid it but Sukari manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lehtinen to the ground. Lehtinen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sukari. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Sukari. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sukari takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Timo Sukari has been cut. Timo Sukari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sukari showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lehtinen.
Lehtinen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sukari paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lehtinen leaves Sukari with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lehtinen closes the distance and clinches. Sukari has had enough of the clinch but Lehtinen keeps him there for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehtinen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lehtinen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sukari's guard. Lehtinen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sukari has momentary wrist control but Lehtinen slips an elbow through the middle. Lehtinen lands a couple of digs. Lehtinen stands up over Sukari, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sukari avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lehtinen wants to stand but Sukari is controlling his posture from full guard. Sukari working a defensive guard but Lehtinen passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sukari tries to roll over but Lehtinen keeps him under control. Sukari wants to get back to his feet.
Sukari is breathing heavily. Lehtinen lands strikes from half guard. Lehtinen slows the pace down in half guard. Sukari wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jukka Lehtinen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Timo Sukari's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sukari shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lehtinen sprawls well. Lehtinen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sukari gets slowly back to his feet. Lehtinen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lehtinen showed some decent athleticism there. Lehtinen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lehtinen working over Sukari with some ground and pound. Sukari looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lehtinen trying to control the action but Sukari is working from the bottom. Lehtinen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lehtinen trying to pass the guard but Sukari defending well. Lehtinen is thwarting Sukari's attempts to control the position. Sukari moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lehtinen stopping the sweep attempt from Sukari. Lehtinen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sukari is working an open guard so Lehtinen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sukari with a lazy takedown attempt and Lehtinen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sukari won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sukari is being controlled here. Lehtinen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sukari down.
Sukari is trying to control Lehtinen's posture but Lehtinen avoids it. Lehtinen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lehtinen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehtinen grinds an elbow into Sukari's temple. Sukari manages to get back to half guard. Sukari is in trouble now - Lehtinen has advanced to mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lehtinen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sukari is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sukari tries to improve his position but instead Lehtinen has taken his back! Lehtinen is persistently looking for the submission but Sukari is defending it well.

Jukka Lehtinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Timo Sukari's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd applauds. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lehtinen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Nice strikes from Lehtinen there. It looks like Lehtinen is going to stand back up.
Lehtinen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sukari defends it well. Lehtinen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sukari doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lehtinen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sukari looking for submissions off his back. Sukari wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sukari scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Sukari rushes Lehtinen and presses him up against the cage. Sukari avoids a wild elbow strike from Lehtinen. Lehtinen tries to pull guard but Sukari won't allow it.
Sukari gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lehtinen.
Lehtinen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sukari is keeping busy. Sukari effectively controlling the action here. Sukari drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lehtinen pulls guard successfully.
Lehtinen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sukari cracks Lehtinen with a solid left hand. Sukari works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sukari tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lehtinen controls his leg. Sukari looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Jukka Lehtinen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lehtinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
