Maeda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Garvin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Garvin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Maeda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Garvin.
Garvin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Maeda could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Garvin has cracked it and Maeda is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Garvin!
