Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Slam Depain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slam Depain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Thomas! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Depain throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Depain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Depain connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Brett Thomas has been cut. Depain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Depain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Thomas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Depain tries to kick Thomas off but Thomas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Thomas stands up from half guard. Depain tries to close the distance and clinch but Thomas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Depain throws a leg kick that is checked and Thomas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Depain's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Depain is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thomas, into his guard. Depain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas gets the takedown into side control. Thomas controlling the position from side mount. Depain wants to get back to his feet. Depain regains half guard there - taking advantage of Thomas's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Depain is looking for a sweep. Thomas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas trying to control the pace. Thomas decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Depain is breathing heavily. Depain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thomas counters by clinching up. Depain tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Thomas pulls guard effortlessly. Depain wanted to stand there but Thomas had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Thomas is trying to control the position but Depain postures up. Depain wants to stand but Thomas is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Depain defends well. Depain is posturing up here but Thomas has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Depain tries to roll out but it's too tight and Depain has to tap! Slick submission there by Thomas!
