The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoss misses with a double jab.
Hughes scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like JP Hoss has been cut.
Hoss throws a looping overhand right but Hughes ducks down to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A combination from Hughes does no damage.
Hughes misses with the combination.
Hoss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hughes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hoss wants to clinch.
Hoss tries to clinch there but Hughes circles away.
Hughes lands a left and a right that send Hoss crashing to the mat, dazed. Hughes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoss forces Hughes back against the cage and clinches.
Hoss working some nice short punches in the clinch.
It looks like Tommy Hughes has been cut.

Hughes is breathing heavily.
Hoss keeps control of Hughes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hughes swings wildly with an uppercut but Hoss uses good head movement to avoid it.
A knee to the head by Hoss.
Hoss lands an elbow just above Hughes 's eye.
Hoss comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hughes is rocked!
Hoss unloads an enormous knee to the head! That's knocked Hughes out cold! Holy cow, it was almost as if it lifted Hughes off his feet!
