Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Afghan Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Purcell Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Afghan Stan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Purcell Jr!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Purcell Jr.
Stan moves out of range of the leg kick from Purcell Jr.
No joy there for Purcell Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stan fails with a takedown attempt.
Purcell Jr tries to bum rush Stan with a series of wild strikes but Stan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Purcell Jr lands a left and a right that send Stan crashing to the mat, dazed. Purcell Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stan is rocked!
It looks like Afghan Stan has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Purcell Jr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stan counters with an inside leg kick.
Oh Stan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stan misses with a takedown attempt - Purcell Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Stan seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Afghan Stan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Purcell Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Purcell Jr scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Stan wants to control but Purcell Jr is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Purcell Jr scores with a big shot! Stan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Stan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Purcell Jr!
