Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadakatsu Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Bola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Honda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tadakatsu Honda Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadakatsu Honda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Bola!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda blocks a head kick by Bola.
Bola closes the distance and clinches up with Honda, looking for a takedown. Bola pushes Honda against the cage but Honda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bola looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Honda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bola on the side of the head.
It looks like Junior Bola has been cut.
Bola throws a head kick that misses.
Bola tries to clinch up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bola.
Honda shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Honda is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Honda is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bola is just riding it out for now. Honda eventually gives up the hold.
Honda is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Bola wants to get back to full guard.
Honda trying to mount his opponent but Bola defends it.
Honda looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bola blocking the ground and pound attempt from Honda.
Honda is trying to control the action in half guard but Bola is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bola is trying to stand up here but Honda is controlling him well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bola tries to clinch up.
Honda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bola looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bola is looking for a sweep.

Honda wants to control but Bola is keeping him busy.
Bola can't do much from the bottom here.
Bola is not content to let Honda control the position.
Honda working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Honda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bola, who protects the arm well.
Honda throws a strike aimed at the side of Bola's head but Bola avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bola tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Honda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Honda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bola is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Honda is trying to get an arm triangle but Bola is defending well.
Honda is breathing heavily.
Honda working away.
Bola tries to buck Honda off but Honda is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bola wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Honda decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bola to his feet.

Honda fails with the takedown.
Bola shoots and misses
and Honda counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bola's guard now.
Tadakatsu Honda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Bola.
Honda decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bola, up you get!

Honda working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Honda goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bola has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Honda but great work by Bola.
Honda tries to bench press Bola off him but Bola keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Honda manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Bola seems to be working for a kimura but Honda defends the submission attempt.
Honda trying to hold on to Bola's head to control him but Bola postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadakatsu Honda dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Junior Bola's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Honda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Honda tries for a kimura but Bola is defending well.
Bola is letting Honda control him for a moment.
Honda works to advance to full mount. Bola defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bola manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Honda seems to be working for a kimura but Bola defends the submission attempt.
Bola is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Honda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Honda's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Honda trying to control the hands but Bola breaks the grip.

Honda manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bola's guard. Nice work there by Honda.
Honda trying to control the position from guard on top but Bola is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bola is on top in guard.
Honda utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bola tries to free his leg and advance position but Honda is retaining full guard.
Bola is posturing up here but Honda has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bola tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bola has to tap! Slick submission there by Honda!
