Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferro Quente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamster Damn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ferro Quente! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hamster Damn! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quente shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Damn wants to get back to his feet but Quente is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Quente is standing up over Damn. Damn looks to escape but Quente dives into side control.
Quente trying to control the position but Damn is working away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Damn can do anything to dispel that myth. Damn tries to escape but Quente is in control. Quente is trying to get an arm triangle but Damn is defending well. Quente is breathing heavily. Damn pushes Quente away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Quente gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Damn misses with a takedown attempt and Quente counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Quente. Damn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Quente stops a takedown attempt from Damn.

Quente prevents Damn from getting back to his feet. Quente wants to control from the top but Damn keeps moving. Quente connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Damn has his feet on Quente's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Ferro Quente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Damn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Quente counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ferro Quente has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamster Damn. Damn scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Quente manages to mount him!
Damn is squirming around, avoiding Quente's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quente thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Damn really wants to buck Quente off and get back to his feet. Quente is in the full mount, landing strikes. Quente scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Damn?
Damn wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Damn somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Damn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Quente counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quente prevents Damn from getting back to his feet. Quente is working Damn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Quente trying to control the position from guard on top but Damn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quente thows a big elbow that misses. Damn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Damn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Damn stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quente works his way to full guard. Good work. Quente uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Damn has his takedown stuffed and Quente counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Quente advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Damn tries to escape but Quente is in control. Quente decides to stand up, so the ref orders Damn to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quente looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Quente drops an elbow to the side of Damn's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ferro Quente dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Damn misses with a takedown attempt and Quente counters with a nice double leg into side control. Damn won't be happy with that. Damn is trying to get back to his feet. Damn tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Damn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Quente dominating with strikes here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Damn's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quente can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Damn is looking to escape. Damn wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Quente working away from the top, dropping strikes. Damn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Quente trying to control but Damn is having none of it. Damn is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Quente landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Quente lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Quente jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Damn manages to avoid the submission attempt. Damn is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Quente asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Damn shoots and misses and Quente counters with a nice double leg into guard. Damn pushes Quente off and gets back to his feet.
Quente closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quente loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Damn keeping moving, preventing Quente from controlling successfully. Damn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Damn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Quente counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ferro Quente has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamster Damn. Damn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Quente off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Quente looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quente trying to mount his opponent but Damn defends it.

Damn tries to kick Quente off but Quente keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Quente takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Damn wants to get back to his feet.

Damn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quente does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Damn working Quente over with strikes. Damn trying to mount his opponent but Quente defends it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Damn. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quente manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that's the end of the fight! Ferro Quente showed his dominance in that final round. Well Quente has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
