Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between MC Gusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeo Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gusto comes to the cage accompanied by Straight out of Locash. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, MC Gusto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romeo Martin! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gusto keeps the fight on the outside. Martin works over Gusto's head and body with a nice combination. Gusto fails in his attempt to clinch. Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Romeo Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin clinches up with Gusto and pushes him back against the cage. Martin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gusto taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Gusto on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gusto lands a nice uppercut.
It looks like Romeo Martin has been cut. Gusto lands on the inside with an uppercut. Gusto lands with a light punch inside. Nice body punch from Gusto. Martin being controlled against the cage. Martin working hard to break the clinch. Martin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gusto has him pressed against the cage. Martin misses with a hook from the clinch. Gusto is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Gusto lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Martin backwards. A right hand to the body from Gusto.
Martin is looking to control Gusto's arms but Gusto gets an underhook and turns him. Now Martin has his back to the cage. Gusto throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martins head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Gusto.
That has opened up Romeo Martin's cut even more. Gusto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Martin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gusto avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gusto scores with a shoulder strike. Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Martin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gusto is out of range. Gusto moves into the clinch successfully.
Gusto is pushing Martin up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Martin can't break the clinch.
Gusto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gusto breaks the clinch.
Martin drops his hands momentarily and Gusto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Gusto slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Gusto throws a hook but Martin blocks it. Gusto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Martin tries to circle away but Gusto has him pinned against the cage. Gusto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gusto lands a with a good body shot. Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gusto connects with a right hand. Martin shakes it off. Gusto jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gusto connects with a right hand. Martin shakes it off.
The cut above Romeo Martin's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Martin tries to keep at a distance but Gusto has taken the fight into the clinch. Martin is looking to break free of the clinch but Gusto has double underhooks. Martin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Gusto. Gusto scores with a hook to the body. Martin throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Gusto presses Martin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Martin looks gassed! Gusto stalls. Gusto lands a body punch in the clinch. Gusto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gusto is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Gusto slips a jab from Martin. Martin misses the body punch and Gusto counters with a nice uppercut. Gusto tests Martin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Martin is rocked!
Romeo Martin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Gusto drops Martin with a beautiful combination! Martin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gusto is looking for the KO! Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Gusto finish him?
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Romeo Martin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). MC Gusto!
