The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Credible lands a big right hand that sends Cromartie crashing to the mat! Credible stays standing though and waves Cromartie back to his feet!
It looks like Antonio Cromartie has been cut. Cromartie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Credible is trying to defend but Cromartie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Credible is refusing to be controlled, as Cromartie sits in half guard. Cromartie is pressing down on Credible's thigh, looking to free his foot. Credible is holding on for now. Cromartie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Credible keeps working. Cromartie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Credible can do anything to dispel that myth. Cromartie wants to free his trapped foot but Credible is holding on for dear life with his legs.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Credible throws a shot from downtown. Cromartie moves away and avoids it. Credible misses with a body shot.
Credible misses with a looping right. Credible misses the shot to the body. Cromartie slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Credible throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cromartie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Credible did well to prevent Cromartie getting side control. Cromartie moves into full mount! Credible won't be happy about that! Cromartie trying to control but Credible is having none of it. Cromartie with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Cromartie has control of Credible's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Credible regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cromartie looking to control but Credible is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cromartie works his way to his opponent's back.
Credible tries to roll but Cromartie sticks to his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Credible trying to control the position but Cromartie manages to sink in the hooks. Credible showing good submission defense here.
Cromartie looking to break Credible's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Credible remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cromartie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Cromartie keeps control of the position as Credible tries to break free.

Credible really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cromartie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Will Cromartie go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Cromartie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Antonio Cromartie's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Credible looks to throw the jab but Cromartie is out of range. Justin Credible is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No joy there for Credible, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Credible drops Cromartie with a beautiful combination! Cromartie stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Credible is looking for the KO!
Cromartie is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Credible sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Cromartie's defenses. It connects perfectly with Cromartie's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
