Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack El Capitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack El Capitan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack El Capitan! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Capitan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doe misses with a head kick.

It looks like Jack El Capitan has been cut. El Capitan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Doe is looking for a sweep. El Capitan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Doe pushes El Capitan off and gets back to his feet. A right-left combo lands from Doe. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Doe tries to close the distance and clinch up but El Capitan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Doe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows El Capitan to score an easy takedown into full guard. El Capitan working some strikes from top position. Doe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst El Capitan is controlling him. Doe is looking for a triangle but El Capitan pushes his legs off easily.

El Capitan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doe moves away. El Capitan takes a kick to the side of the head. El Capitan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doe's half guard. Doe is breathing heavily. El Capitan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Doe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. El Capitan lands a nice short elbow. El Capitan drops an elbow to the side of Doe's head. Doe has hold of El Capitan's hands but El Capitan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. El Capitan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. El Capitan lands with a punch from half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself.
