Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Preston Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Shadie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver's entrance music is Candy Paint. A fine choice. Preston Driver could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Slim Shadie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadie avoids the body shot from Driver.
Shadie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shadie prevents Driver from standing back up.
Shadie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Driver keeps working.
Driver is trying to stand back up but Shadie is controlling him
Shadie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Driver's head.
Shadie looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Driver is looking to escape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Driver throws the left hand but Shadie avoids the punch easily.

Shadie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Driver doesn't seem bothered though.
Shadie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Driver sprawls well initially but Shadie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shadie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Driver!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Driver is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Shadie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Shadie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Driver is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Driver and Shadie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Shadie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Driver keeps working.

Driver wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Shadie swings around for an armbar but Driver sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Shadie's guard.
Driver wants to stand but Shadie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Driver is fighting to break Shadie's control of his arms but Shadie is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Driver trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shadie's guard.
Driver won't allow Shadie to sweep him here.
Shadie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Driver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Driver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Driver wanted to stand there but Shadie had control of the position.

Shadie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Driver tries to stand but Shadie is controlling from the bottom.

Shadie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Driver!

Driver is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Shadie wants to control the pace but Driver is squirming around nicely.

Driver tries to buck Shadie off but he can't manage it.
Driver is breathing heavily.
Driver is squirming around, avoiding Shadie's attempts to control the action.

Driver wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Slim Shadie dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Driver gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shadie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Shadie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Driver wants to stand but Shadie is controlling the position.
Shadie tries to free his leg and advance position but Driver is retaining full guard.
Shadie trying to control but Driver is working from the bottom.
Driver wants to stand and escape but Shadie is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Shadie is pushing down on Driver's leg trying to pass to half guard. Driver is fighting to maintain full guard but Shadie has managed to sneak the leg through.
Driver wants to get back to his feet.

Shadie wants to pass the guard but Driver is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shadie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Driver stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shadie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Driver!
Driver takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Driver is squirming around, avoiding Shadie's attempts to control the action.
Shadie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Driver has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Shadie has isolated one of Driver's arms. Driver looking to fight him off but Shadie twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
