Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jordi Tejedo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuraba shoots in for a takedown but Tejedo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A punch combination from Tejedo misses.
Tejedo throws a front kick aimed at Kuraba's knee but Kuraba avoids it well.
Kuraba looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kuraba thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kuraba decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kuraba is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tejedo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Tejedo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kuraba is taking a breather. Tejedo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kuraba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tejedo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Tejedo looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Kuraba wants to work for an arm triangle but Tejedo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kuraba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kuraba is nestled in close to Tejedo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kuraba in particular looking to stall.
Kuraba is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tejedo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kuraba gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Kuraba looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tejedo!
Tejedo is in a horrible position here. Kuraba smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Kuraba is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tejedo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tejedo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kuraba anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tejedo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kuraba slips an arm under Tejedo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kuraba has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kuraba is squeezing on Tejedo like an anaconda would it's prey. Tejedo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kenji Kuraba!
