Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kane Kraken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Coley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coley has chosen Disturbed Inside the Fire as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Kraken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Coley! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraken clinches up with Coley and pushes him back against the cage. Coley gets underhooks to prevent Kraken's takedown attempt.
Coley tries to circle away but Kraken has him pinned against the cage. Coley tries for a takedown. No joy.
Coley breaks from the clinch.
Kraken shoots in and bounces Coley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kraken is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coley has escaped and now he's on top! Coley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kraken wants to sweep here but Coley controlling him for the moment. Coley with a flurry of punches that miss. Kraken trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coley trying to control but Kraken is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coley throwing strikes from guard but Kraken blocks nicely. Coley lands a couple of decent looking shots. Coley thows a big elbow that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coley tries to clinch but Kraken is having none of it. Coley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Coley lands in his opponent's guard. Coley wants to pass the guard but Kraken is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coley wants to control from the top but Kraken keeps moving. Coley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kraken works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Coley preventing the sweep. Kraken is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kraken wants to control but Coley is keeping him busy. Kraken is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Coley defends it well. Coley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kraken. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kraken is breathing heavily. Coley is trying to stand up here but Kraken is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraken wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coley keeps working. Coley moves into full guard.
Kraken wants to control from the top but Coley keeps moving. Coley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kraken is aware though and is defending well. Coley keeping moving, preventing Kraken from controlling successfully. Coley striking off his back but it's not causing Kraken any problems. Coley is trying to keep Kraken in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kraken got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kraken has managed to get both his arms back between Coley's legs - danger averted. Coley tries to strike from the bottom.
Kraken pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coley is keeping the position for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A left and a right from Coley both land. Nice combination. Kraken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coley's guard. Coley keeping moving, preventing Kraken from controlling successfully. Kraken pushing down on Coley's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kraken is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

A close round but Brian Coley will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Coley clinches but Kraken breaks the clinch and Kraken counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kraken. Coley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Coley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kraken looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kraken advances position into side control! Kraken is looking to take a break and control but Coley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kraken wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Coley, who protects the arm well. Coley sneaks back into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coley manages to escape and get back to his feet! Kraken checks the leg kick. Coley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kraken counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Coley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Coley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kraken thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kraken tries to free his leg and advance position but Coley is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kraken gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kraken trying to control but Coley is working from the bottom. Coley looking for a guillotine here but Kraken defends easily.

Coley was covering up waiting for the punch and Kraken finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kraken is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coley has escaped and now he's on top! Coley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kraken's guard. Coley won't allow Kraken to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coley wants to get up but he can't break Kraken's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kraken lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Coley! Kraken looking to control but Coley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Coley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Kraken is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Coley has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Coley! Kraken looking to control.

Kane Kraken dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kraken closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kraken wants to control but Coley is keeping him busy. Kane Kraken overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kraken wants to work for an arm triangle but Coley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Coley is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Kraken is tapping! Great win for Coley!
