The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan throws a right hand that Makuto ducks under and follows up with a left that Makuto also avoids with ease.
A combination from Makuto does no damage.

Chan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Makuto lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Jakie Chan has been cut.

Makuto cracks Chan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Chan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Makuto but Makuto pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Makuto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chan circles away quickly and effectively.
Makuto throws a good cross that connects.
Makuto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Makuto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Makuto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Chan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Chan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Makuto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Makuto is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Chan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makuto to score with a decent uppercut.
Makuto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chan has time to react.

Makuto throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Chan colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Makuto as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Chan is left battered and dazed whilst Makuto and his camp cheer!
