Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rav Kapur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Payette! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Rav Kapur! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payette jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kapur cracks the inside of Payette's front leg. Payette lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kapur circles away quickly and effectively. Kapur tries to move into range but Payette moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Rav Kapur has been cut. Nice defenses there by Payette. Payette tries to land a front kick but Kapur steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Payette misses with a wild body shot. Payette throws a right hand that Kapur ducks under and follows up with a left that Kapur also avoids with ease. Kapur wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payette tries to move into range but Kapur moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Payette looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kapur is fending him off so far but Payette persists. Nope, Kapur circles away and we're back to standing. Kapur throws a leg kick which misses Payette's front leg but catches the back leg as Payette tries to avoid it. Kapur leaves Payette with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kapur misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Payette looks to land a left hand but Kapur moved out of range nicely. Payette lands with a nice body punch. Payette throws a body punch but Kapur moves out of range. Payette walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kapur slips a straight right by Payette. Payette shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Payette. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kapur tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Payette throws a right hand that Kapur ducks under and follows up with a left that Kapur also avoids with ease. Kapur displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Payette. Payette lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kapur circles away quickly and effectively. Kapur ducks under a wild hook from Payette. Kapur missing with a left hand there. Payette was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kapur throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Andre Payette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Payette connects with a single shot there. Payette misses with a looping right. Kapur throws a sloppy body shot
and Payette counters with a one-two to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kapur pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Payette is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kapur sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Payette thows a left - swing and a miss! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andre Payette will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rav Kapur's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Payette looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Payette misses with a takedown attempt - Kapur sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kapur pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Payette ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kapur moves away. Andre Payette is winning the standup battle so far. Payette misses the jab.

Payette throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Payette moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Payette misses with a takedown attempt - Kapur sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Payette. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Payette shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kapur sprawls well. Kapur wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Payette gets slowly back to his feet. Payette throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kapur lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The fighters circling - Payette throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Payette shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Payette not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kapur kicks off Payette and gets to his feet. Payette thows a left - swing and a miss! Some wild striking there from Payette.
Kapur shoots in and drives through. Payette sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Payette throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A slow jab from Payette misses its intended target. Kapur should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Payette has his takedown stuffed and Kapur counters with a straight right hand. Payette with a lazy takedown attempt and Kapur counters with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Andre Payette will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rav Kapur's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kapur doesn't succeed with the takedown and Payette connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Payette scores a takedown into full mount! Payette landing punches. Payette throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Payette misses with a head shot. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kapur can do anything to dispel that myth. Kapur wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Payette.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payette trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Payette.
Kapur is rocked!
The cut above Rav Kapur's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rav Kapur's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
