Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between rodrigo silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Muldoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Muldoon defends it nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from silva.
Dave Muldoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muldoon tries to clinch up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muldoon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Muldoon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Muldoon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Muldoon's back instead.

silva has his foot on Muldoon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muldoon works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muldoon pushes down on silva's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Muldoon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Muldoon pulls his head out easily.
Muldoon tries to stand and escape but silva is controlling the position.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Muldoon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Muldoon tries to clinch but fails miserably
and silva counters with a single leg into guard. Muldoon didn't expect that.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Muldoon holds on and takes a little breather.

silva pushes Muldoon off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
silva rushes Muldoon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
silva has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Muldoon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
silva looking to break Muldoon's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Muldoon remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise silva will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
silva is controlling the position but Muldoon somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Muldoon wants to control but silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
