Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Lebedenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Henry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasiliy Lebedenko! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry avoids the body shot from Lebedenko.
Henry gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lebedenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lebedenko trying to control but Henry is working from the bottom. Lebedenko won't allow Henry to get back to his feet. Lebedenko trying to control but Henry is working from the bottom. Henry is pulling down on Lebedenko's head to control his posture. Lebedenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Henry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Henry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lebedenko did well to prevent Henry getting side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lebedenko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lebedenko trying to control but Henry postures up.
Henry decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Henry closes the distance and lands a one-two. Lebedenko shoots and misses and Henry counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Henry trying to mount his opponent but Lebedenko defends it. Henry trying to control the action but Lebedenko is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lebedenko is trying to maintain the position but Henry is very close to passing his half guard. Lebedenko is staying active underneath Henry, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Henry is stalling here. Lebedenko is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Henry seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lebedenko has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Henry is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lebedenko has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lebedenko shoots in and bounces Henry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Henry is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry keeping moving, preventing Lebedenko from controlling successfully. Lebedenko makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Lebedenko wants to control from the top but Henry keeps moving. Lebedenko passes into half guard. Lebedenko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Henry is defending against the submission attempts here by Lebedenko.

Lebedenko goes for an armbar but Henry turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Henry. Henry passes Lebedenko's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lebedenko with a lazy takedown attempt and Henry holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lebedenko scores with a hook to the body. Henry is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lebedenko pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lebedenko lands a takedown into guard.
Henry wants to sweep but no luck. Lebedenko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lebedenko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Henry wants to get back to his feet but Lebedenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lebedenko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Henry pulls Lebedenko in close to prevent any damage. Henry is trying to keep Lebedenko in close.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lebedenko shoots and misses and Henry counters with a one-two to the body. Lebedenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Henry counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mike Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasiliy Lebedenko. Henry controls from within his opponent's guard. Henry trying to control the position from guard on top but Lebedenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lebedenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Henry wants to get back to his feet but Lebedenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lebedenko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Henry is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Henry has escaped and now he's on top! Henry wants to control from the top but Lebedenko keeps moving.

Henry prevents Lebedenko from getting back to his feet. Mike Henry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lebedenko keeping moving, preventing Henry from controlling successfully. Lebedenko looking for a guillotine here but Henry defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Henry clinches up against the cage. Lebedenko jumps guard.

Henry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lebedenko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lebedenko lands a couple of digs. Lebedenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lebedenko is looking to work some ground and pound but Henry has wrist control. Henry has his foot on Lebedenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lebedenko works his way back into a safe position though.
