PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aamin Haidar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoshi Shinomori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haidar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is target=blank>drop the world. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aamin Haidar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aoshi Shinomori!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haidar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shinomori as he jumps to the side.

Shinomori stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shinomori wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aamin Haidar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haidar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shinomori's waist but Shinomori gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haidar off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A left and a right from Shinomori both land. Nice combination.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Aoshi Shinomori showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shinomori cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Haidar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Aoshi Shinomori comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Shinomori has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
