Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caden Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ash has chosen your going down as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Petersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caden Ash! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petersen shoots in and drives through. Ash sprawls well. Some wild striking there from Ash.
Ash closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ash is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Petersen. Petersen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ash sprawls well initially but Petersen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Petersen is taking a breather. Ash says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Petersen trying to control the action but Ash is working from the bottom. Petersen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ash trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ash won't allow Petersen to pass to mount. Well, if Petersen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ash pushes Petersen off looking to stand but Petersen dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Petersen slips a jab and a cross from Ash.
Petersen closes the distance and clinches. Petersen fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Petersen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petersen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ash tries to circle away but Petersen has him pinned against the cage. Ash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Petersen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ash.
Caden Ash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Petersen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ash throws a nice looking combination but Petersen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ash tries to clinch there but Petersen circles away.
Petersen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Petersen showed some decent athleticism there. Ash tries to kick Petersen off but Petersen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Petersen trying to pass the guard but Ash defending well. Ash blocking the ground and pound attempt from Petersen. Petersen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Petersen is breathing heavily. Ash keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ash is trying to stand back up but Petersen is controlling him
Petersen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Petersen thows a huge punch but Ash dodges it nicely.
Ash kicks off Petersen and gets to his feet. Petersen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ash, pushing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petersen wants a takedown but no success here.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Ash as Petersen tries to tie him up. Ash is fighting off a takedown attempt but Petersen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ash to the mat. Ash regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Ash is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ash trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ash lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Petersen! Ash with a couple of short strikes. Petersen wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ash landing shots from mount. Petersen wants to try and get back to his feet. Ash controlling from the full mount. Petersen in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dylan Petersen will probably get the nod. That's time! Petersen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Ash will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Petersen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ash tries to clinch up and Petersen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ash! Petersen controlling the position easily from mount. Ash is looking to improve his position but Petersen isn't that keen on the idea. Ash is breathing heavily. Petersen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ash looks a forlorn figure.

That's one minute gone in the round. Petersen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Petersen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ash hang on? Ash tries to hold on but Petersen postures up. Ash is in a horrible position here. Petersen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Petersen with the ground and pound from mount. Petersen landing strikes, looking to finish! Ash tries to lock up and control but Petersen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Petersen trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ash is trying to stand up. Petersen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ash?
Ash is looking to get to half guard. Petersen content just to control the position here. Petersen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ash hang on? Petersen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Petersen looking to control but Ash is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petersen is really struggling to control Ash but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ash squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Petersen breaks from Ash's wrist control and lands an elbow. Petersen lands a heavy elbow. Petersen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ash hang on? Dylan Petersen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Petersen cracks Ash with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Petersen won't let Ash get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. A nice elbow there by Petersen. Petersen content just to control the position here. Ash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ash is bucking up trying to escape but Petersen cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Ash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Petersen looking to finish Ash with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ash! Petersen unloading with bombs! Petersen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ash is working to get back to half guard.
Petersen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ash is looking to escape. Petersen controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dylan Petersen dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Petersen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Petersen. Dylan Petersen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ash has his takedown stuffed and Petersen counters with a single leg into guard. Ash didn't expect that. Ash keeping moving, preventing Petersen from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Petersen being controlled here momentarily. Ash trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petersen won't allow Ash to get back to his feet. Petersen tries to free his leg and advance position but Ash is retaining full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Petersen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ash misses with a few strikes there.
Ash misses with a head kick.
Petersen tries to clinch but Ash moves away and Ash counters by moving into the clinch. Ash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Petersen walks away with a smile on his face. Ash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Petersen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ash paws at him with a jab and circles away. Petersen has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Petersen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ash gets underhooks to prevent Petersen's takedown attempt.
Ash wants to break free but Petersen has control.
Ash misses with a knee to the head. Petersen lands a nice knee to the body. Ash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Petersen shoots in but Ash avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Petersen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ash closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petersen circles away. Ash tries to clinch but Petersen moves away and Petersen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Petersen looking to pass the guard. Petersen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ash keeping moving, preventing Petersen from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ash avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Petersen postures up in Ash's guard and throws a big left but Ash blocks it. Ash trying to keep a closed guard but Petersen is proving a slippery customer.
Petersen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Petersen is trying to stand up here but Ash is controlling him well. Ash is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Petersen! Petersen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

And that's the end of the fight! Dylan Petersen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Petersen, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
