Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
G looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Hugo Jr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Hugo Jr drops back looking for a leg! G is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and G manages to kick Hugo Jr off! Hugo Jr jumps back into G's guard.

Hugo Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hugo Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
G has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
G tries to clinch there but Hugo Jr circles away.
G bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hugo Jr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked G off and has taken his back!
Hugo Jr has the hooks in. G is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hugo Jr working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but G is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Hugo Jr has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! G taps out!
