Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Sutiero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pork Rinds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Curtis Sutiero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pork Rinds!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinds lands a nice hook to Sutiero's body. Sutiero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sutiero looks to land a combination but Rinds avoids it well.
Rinds changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sutiero tries to avoid it but Rinds manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sutiero to the ground. Sutiero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sutiero drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sutiero stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rinds thows a body shot but no joy.
Sutiero is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rinds throws a combination. Sutiero tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rinds lands a nice shot to the body.
Sutiero takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rinds.
Rinds throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Sutiero counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Sutiero sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rinds defending well though.
Rinds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sutiero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sutiero seems to be looking for submissions.

Sutiero seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rinds makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rinds.

Rinds is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Rinds counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Rinds escapes and gets back to his feet.

Rinds shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rinds showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rinds stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sutiero to get to his feet.

Rinds shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sutiero is trying to defend but Rinds finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sutiero pulls Rinds in close to his closed guard and prevents Rinds from doing any damage or advancing position.
Sutiero is striking but Rinds is not phased and passes to half guard.

Rinds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rinds looking to secure an arm triangle but Sutiero defends it well.

Pork Rinds has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sutiero is looking to control Rinds's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sutiero avoid being mounted?

Rinds tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sutiero controls his leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sutiero wants to control the pace but Rinds is squirming around nicely.

Rinds manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Sutiero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rinds keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sutiero controlling the action here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rinds can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rinds is looking to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sutiero prevents Rinds from standing back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Curtis Sutiero will probably get the nod.
That's time! Sutiero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Sutiero pushes Rinds off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Rinds tightens his grip and picks Sutiero up, before dumping him to the ground. Sutiero manages to land in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rinds looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Pork Rinds.
Well Rinds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
