Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between tobi tann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Fedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like tobi tann has been cut.
tann swats away the attempt to clinch by Fedro.
Fedro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has tann pinned against the cage. tann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fedro gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Fedro - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Fedro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

tann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fedro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Fedro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fedro tries to improve his position but instead tann has taken his back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

tann throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Fedro!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
tann lands punches and elbows.
tann has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fedro has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
tann looking to break Fedro's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Fedro remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise tann will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Fedro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as tann walks away with a smile on his face. Fedro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

tann is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. tann gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. tann gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. tann apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and tann cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and tann counters with a right hand to the body.

tobi tann overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

tann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fedro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
