Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaz Hoyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JunkYard Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog has chosen Guard Dog as his entrance music. JunkYard Dog is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jaz Hoyt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JunkYard Dog! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoyt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hoyt ducks under a wild hook from Dog. Hoyt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dog manages to avoid it. Hoyt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dog shoots in for a takedown but Hoyt shows good takedown defense. Nice straight punches there by Hoyt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hoyt.
It looks like JunkYard Dog has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dog is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hoyt's half guard. Hoyt looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dog not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dog wants to free his trapped foot but Hoyt is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hoyt is not content to let Dog control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dog lands a glancing blow to the side of Hoyt's head. Dog throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoyt's waist but Hoyt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dog off to one side. Hoyt looks to land a combination but Dog avoids it well. Dog looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hoyt! Dog wants to control the pace but Hoyt is squirming around nicely. Dog throws a strike there. Hoyt manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog wants to pass to mount but Hoyt is defending the position. Dog passes to side control. Hoyt is not content to let Dog control the position. Dog sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hoyt is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dog trying to control the action but Hoyt is working from the bottom. Dog is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Dog might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hoyt kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dog connects with a nice short shot to Hoyt's temple. Hoyt is refusing to be controlled, as Dog sits in half guard. Dog thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hoyt to regain full guard. Dog throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoyt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dog controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dog trying to control but Hoyt is working from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, JunkYard Dog just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hoyt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dog's hands. Dog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dog decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dog wants to work for an arm triangle but Hoyt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

and Dog counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hoyt won't be happy with that. Dog misses with the ground and pound. Dog is looking to take a break and control but Hoyt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hoyt stops Dog from passing to mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dog wants to take a breather but Hoyt is having none of it. Dog is pressing down on Hoyt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoyt is holding on for now.

Hoyt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dog wants to control from the top but Hoyt keeps moving. Dogis looking to pass into half guard but Hoyt pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hoyt is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hoyt defends well. Dog is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Dog looking for a sweep. Not yet Dog, not yet.

and Dog counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dog closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dog trying to control from half guard but Hoyt is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! JunkYard Dog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dog has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
