Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimbo Slice looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shogun Rua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rua moves into the clinch. Slice should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Slice is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rua is defending well for now. Rua avoiding damage as Slice throws knees to the body.
Rua has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Slice landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Rua looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rua misses with a body punch.
Slice tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rua avoids it. Rua avoiding damage as Slice throws knees to the body.

Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Slice stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slice wants it to stay on the feet. Slice tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rua counters with a shoot takedown. Slice fights it but they end up in guard. Rua stands and steps away. Slice gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rua changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slice looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. This has been an exciting period of action! Slice is pushing Rua's head away, looking to escape. Rua manages to hold on to the position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slice is trying to improve his position. Rua tries to score with some ground and pound. Slice controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Rua politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rua prefers to stall for the moment though. Rua fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Slice regains half guard. Rua thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Slice is staying active underneath Rua, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rua looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Slice moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Slice clinches but Rua breaks the clinch and Rua counters with a shoot takedown. Slice fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rua is controlling him. Slice is trying to keep Rua in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shogun Rua dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rua manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rua trying to control the position here. Rua looking for a sweep. Not yet Rua, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rua is trying to keep Slice in close.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rua tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice gets to his feet. Rua looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rua gets a clinch. Rua blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rua tries to pull guard but Slice holds him up against the cage and eventually Rua drops back down to his feet.
Rua jumps guard and drags Slice to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rua scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Slice darts in trying to clinch and Rua counters with a takedown into side control. Slice is trying to buck Rua off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Slice wants to clinch but Rua slips to the side and Rua finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Rua. Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slice pinned against the cage. Slice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slice looks to clinch and Rua counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rua. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rua trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Rua wants to stand but Slice has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Slice scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice closes the distance looking to clinch so Rua counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rua wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position. Rua working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rua gets to his feet. Slice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Rua. Slice tries to clinch up and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua. Slice lands a nice knee to the body. Rua wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Slice has him pressed against the cage. Rua avoiding damage as Slice throws knees to the body.
Slice is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rua is defending well for now. Rua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rua shoots in for a takedown but Slice shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogun Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rua circles away from the clinch attempt and Rua counters with a one-two to the body. Slice darts in trying to clinch and Rua counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Slice! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rua throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shogun Rua dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rua throws a leg kick which misses Slice's front leg but catches the back leg as Slice tries to avoid it. Rua circles away from the clinch attempt and Rua counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rua is trying to control the action in half guard but Slice is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Slice won't allow Rua to pass to mount. Slice controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Slice wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy. Slice is concentrating on defense, preventing Rua from advancing position. Rua passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Slice! Slice has given up his back. Will we see Rua going for some submissions?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Good control from Rua. Slice is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Slice is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rua gets his way!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Rua's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Slice tries to clinch up and Rua decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slice's guard. Slice keeping full guard, as Rua tries to pass. Rua stops Slice from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shogun Rua overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Slice is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Slice lands a good knee to the midsection. Rua won't want to take too many of those. Rua on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rua working hard to break the clinch. Rua tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slice smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rua is defended easily by Slice. Slice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that's the end of the fight! Shogun Rua showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rua, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
