The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Lopez.
A punch combination from Scrappypants misses.
Scrappypants throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lopez's head.
It looks like Armando Lopez has been cut.
Lopez throws a nice looking combination but Scrappypants bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lopez avoids the head kick by Scrappypants.
A right-left combo lands from Lopez.
Lopez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Elkerton Scrappypants seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scrappypants loads up on a big right hand but Lopez slips the punch.
Scrappypants misses with a leg kick.
A combination from Lopez does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lopez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lopez fails to land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Scrappypants looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Scrappypants is looking to clinch but Lopez is avoiding it.
Jab, jab by Scrappypants - just one landing.
Lopez stalks Scrappypants and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scrappypants's face. Scrappypants staggers backwards, shaken.
Scrappypants feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lopez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Scrappypants off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Lopez! Scrappypants is backing up but he can't get away as Lopez lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Scrappypants and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Armando Lopez!
