Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikhail Bakunin!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakunin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barkley regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bakunin's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Bakunin prevents Barkley from standing back up.

Barkley controls Bakunin momentarily but Bakunin frees himself.
Bakunin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barkley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barkley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barkley!
Barkley is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bakunin's shoulder. That is not cool.
Bakunin is not content to let Barkley control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bakunin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barkley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Barkley tries to advance to mount but can't.
You can see the frustration on Bakunin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Barkley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barkley wants to control the pace but Bakunin is squirming around nicely.
Bakunin tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Barkley has control of Bakunin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bakunin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barkley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bakunin is looking to escape.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bakunin tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bakunin wants to hold on but Barkley pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Foster Barkley will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A head kick misses from Barkley.
Mikhail Bakunin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bakunin shoots in for a takedown but Barkley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bakunin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barkley's guard.
