Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fish Lover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua slips under a jab.
Lover throws a big shot that misses.
Lover darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Mauricio Rua has been cut.

Rua misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Lover, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Lover against the cage but Lover circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Rua counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Lover throws an overhand right that lands on Rua's shoulder, as Rua tries to avoid the shot.
Rua lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rua shoots for a double leg takedown but Lover sprawls well. He's pushed Rua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lover lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lover as he avoids it easily.
Lover throws a lazy right hand but Rua sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lover jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rua has a takedown stuffed.
Lover throws a hook but Rua avoids it easily.
Rua tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lover swivels and escapes.
Rua fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lover throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rua holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Rua effectively controlling the action here.
Lover has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rua jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lover walks away with a smile on his face. Rua gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rua tries a head kick but it misses.
Lover misses with a straight left.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lover tries to bum rush Rua with a series of wild strikes but Rua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rua pushes Lover up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fish Lover is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lover thows a body shot but no joy.
Rua throws a head kick that half lands.

Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Lover, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Lover against the cage but Lover circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lover but Lover pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rua throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Rua fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Rua is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lover is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
