Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil James Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lil James Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Power misses the jab.
Power looks to throw the jab but Lightning is out of range.
Lightning tries to close the distance and clinch but Power swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Power crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lightning - the referee stops the clock and Power gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lightning. Power manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lightning lands with a kick to the ribs.
Power is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Power looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lil James Lightning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lightning breaks from the clinch.
Lightning lands with a kick to the temple. Power shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Max Power has been cut.
Lightning throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Power on the side of the head.
A head kick by Lightning - that's a beauty! Power is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Lightning can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lil James Lightning!
