Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Tachia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aidan Kincaid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Aidan Kincaid!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lyoto Tachia!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tachia swats away the attempt to clinch by Kincaid.
Tachia drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kincaid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tachia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kincaid wants to clinch.
Tachia throws a body kick that misses.
Tachia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kincaid's head.
Tachia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kincaid manages to avoid it.
Kincaid bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kincaid connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kincaid wants to clinch up but Tachia keeps it at a distance.
Tachia throws a shot from downtown. Kincaid moves away and avoids it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tachia.
Kincaid is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tachia.
Aidan Kincaid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tachia throws a head kick that misses.
Tachia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kincaid sprawls well. Kincaid wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tachia gets slowly back to his feet.

Tachia throws the kick towards the body but Kincaid avoids it.
Tachia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kincaid.
The fighters circling - Kincaid throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kincaid tries to close the distance and clinch but Tachia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tachia throws a low kick, looking for Kincaid's leg but Kincaid calmly moves out of range.
Kincaid drops his shoulder and cracks Tachia with a huge uppercut! Tachia goes down! Can Kincaid finish him?
Tachia is rocked!
Kincaid passes Tachia's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tachia is still in real trouble! Can Kincaid finish him?
Kincaid not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kincaid decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Tachia seems to have recovered his senses.
Kincaid misses with a double jab.
Tachia buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tachia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aidan Kincaid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Tachia.
Tachia keeps the fight on the outside.

Tachia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tachia scores with a head kick.
Kincaid on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tachia swings for the body but Kincaid moves out of range.
Tachia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Decent striking displayed by Kincaid there.
No joy there for Tachia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kincaid tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tachia swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tachia misses with a straight right.
Kincaid moves in looking to clinch but Tachia pushes him off.
Kincaid stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tachia throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kincaid is looking to clinch but Tachia is avoiding it.
Tachia falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kincaid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kincaid's corner calls for a 1-2. Kincaid obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kincaid is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Tachia slips a straight right by Kincaid.
Kincaid chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tachia can pounce on him.
Lyoto Tachia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tachia swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kincaid counters with a nice uppercut.
Tachia throws a nice looking combination but Kincaid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kincaid is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kincaid tries to clinch there but Tachia circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kincaid wants to clinch.
Tachia misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aidan Kincaid will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Aidan Kincaid's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tachia lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kincaid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kincaid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kincaid doesn't manage to clinch there - Tachia circles away.

Tachia breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tachia throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kincaid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Tachia is trying to drag Kincaid to the mat but Kincaid just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kincaid throws a big uppercut that drops Tachia! More strikes from Kincaid and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Tachia lies dazed against the cage as Kincaid celebrates with his cornermen!
