Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akashi Yasumasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slater Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akashi Yasumasa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slater Stone! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yasumasa has managed to clinch.
Stone manages to break the clinch.
Stone instigates a clinch. Yasumasa prevents Stone from breaking the clinch. Stone tries a body shot but Yasumasa blocks it.
Yasumasa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Yasumasa tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Yasumasa lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Stone can't break the clinch.
Stone breaks from the clinch.
Yasumasa clinches. Yasumasa misses with a knee strike.
Stone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Yasumasa pulls him back up using the underhooks. Stone wants to get back to striking at distance but Yasumasa won't allow it.
Yasumasa throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stone blocks it with crossed arms. Yasumasa throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Stone takes an elbow to the forehead. Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone circles away from the clinch attempt and Stone counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yasumasa clinches but Stone breaks the clinch and Stone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yasumasa's guard. Stone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Yasumasa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stone wants to pass the guard but Yasumasa is keeping the position. Yasumasa is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Stone gets to his feet. Yasumasa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Yasumasa clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yasumasa tries to stall but Stone uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Yasumasa lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Stone is trying to break free. A short body shot lands from Stone as the two fighters clinch.

Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yasumasa has him pressed against the cage. Yasumasa lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Yasumasa misses with a knee to the head. Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Yasumasa wants to clinch but Stone slips to the side and Stone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yasumasa's guard. Yasumasa is breathing heavily. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Yasumasa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yasumasa is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stone gets to his feet - Yasumasa follows without any prompting. Stone tries for a takedown but Yasumasa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Yasumasa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stone counters with a single leg into guard. Yasumasa didn't expect that. Stone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stone stopping the sweep attempt from Yasumasa. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slater Stone dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yasumasa moves into range and clinches up with Stone. Stone has Yasumasa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yasumasa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Yasumasa with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Yasumasa looking to throw knees to the head but Stone is blocking nicely.
Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yasumasa looks to clinch and Stone counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Yasumasa won't allow Stone to pass to mount. Stone prevents Yasumasa from standing back up.
Yasumasa regains full guard. Nicely done. Yasumasa wants to stand up but Stone is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yasumasa keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully. Stone stopping the sweep attempt from Yasumasa. Stone is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yasumasa seems keen to control Stone's posture. Yasumasa working a defensive guard here.
Yasumasa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Yasumasa is retaining full guard. Yasumasa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Yasumasa clinches but Stone breaks the clinch and Stone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stone gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Yasumasa looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Yasumasa wants to stand up but Stone is controlling him. Yasumasa kicks Stone off and gets to his feet. Yasumasa looks to clinch and Stone counters by clinching up. Yasumasa tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Stone jumps guard but Yasumasa stands there with Stone around his waist. Stone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Akashi Yasumasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slater Stone. Stone trying to stall but Yasumasa improves his position.

Stone raining down shots from the mount! Stone tries to control but Yasumasa wriggling away. Stone goes for an armbar but Yasumasa turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Yasumasa. Yasumasa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone pushes Yasumasa off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Stone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yasumasa.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yasumasa tries to clinch but Stone moves out of range. Stone throws a front kick aimed at Yasumasa's knee but Yasumasa avoids it well. Yasumasa misses with a takedown and Stone counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slater Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Stone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yasumasa tries to clinch but fails miserably and Stone counters with a body kick that stops Yasumasa in his tracks momentarily. Yasumasa slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yasumasa's guard. Stone showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Yasumasa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Stone looking to control but Yasumasa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stone lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Yasumasa hang on? Stone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Yasumasa is rocked! Stone scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oh Yasumasa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stone jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Yasumasa manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Stone in side control, just content to control the action for now. Yasumasa seems to have got his legs back now. Stone wants to control but Yasumasa is keeping him busy. Yasumasa wants to get back to his feet. Stone trying to control the position but Yasumasa is working away. Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Yasumasa tries to clinch but fails miserably and Stone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stone. Stone postures up in Yasumasa's guard and throws a big left but Yasumasa blocks it. Yasumasa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yasumasa is trying to control the position but Stone postures up. Stone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Stone swings around for an armbar but Yasumasa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stone's guard. Yasumasa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stone is trying to control the position but Yasumasa postures up. Akashi Yasumasa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone wants to sweep but no luck. Stone throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Slater Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Stone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
