French comes to the cage accompanied by Blaze of Glory. Henry William French could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Willy Sanchez's chin.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sanchez throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but French is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
French is trying to control Sanchez's posture but Sanchez avoids it.
French holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
French parries the strikes from Sanchez easily there. Sanchez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable French to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on French's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
French scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
