The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone misses with an uppercut.
Maximus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Malone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Maximus is refusing to be controlled, as Malone sits in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maximus connects with a nice short shot to Malone's temple.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Maximus throws a right and a left that Malone avoids nicely.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Maximus.
Well Maximus has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
