Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azkar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dragon defends it nicely.
Some wild striking there from Dragon.
Dragon tries to clinch but Azkar is having none of it.
Dragon scores with a hook.
Dragon avoids a kick to the body.
Azkar throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dragon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dragon clinches.
Dragon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Azkar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Azkar pulls guard successfully.
Azkar is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Dragon is trying to drag Azkar to the mat but Azkar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Azkar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dragon tries to clinch up.
Azkar misses with a takedown
and Dragon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dragon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Azkar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dragon counters with a one-two to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Azkar.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shamal Azkar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dragon throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Azkar colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Dragon as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Azkar is left battered and dazed whilst Dragon and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vini Dragon!
