Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and frank mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Miller looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, frank mir! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller thows a left - swing and a miss! Miller looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! mir gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. mir wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. mir prevents a body shot from Miller. mir wants to break free but Miller has control.
mir stalls. Miller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from mir.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Miller. mir tries to circle away but Miller has him pinned against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. mir looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. mir wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. mir stalls. mir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller missing with knees to the body.

Miller is looking to break free of the clinch but mir has double underhooks. mir drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miller pulls his leg out and moves away.
Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. mir wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position. mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller keeping full guard, as mir tries to pass. Miller could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. mir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. mir with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. mir postures up in Miller's guard and throws a big left but Miller blocks it. Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miller keeping moving, preventing mir from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. mir darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. mir jumps guard but Miller stands there with mir around his waist. mir gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jay Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of frank mir.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller prevents a takedown attempt there.
mir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A swing and a miss from Miller. mir tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. mir seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. mir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. mir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. mir wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs. mir is working for a kimura but Miller is defending it quite comfortably.
mir keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. mir is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
mir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
frank mir dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A big left from mir misses. Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. mir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. mir works a leg free and moves into half guard. mir controlling the action here. mir not landing any meaningful shots this time. Miller is not content to let mir control the position. mir seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. mir has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. mir throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, mir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
mir looking to ground and pound but Miller is blocking nicely. mir sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! mir has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. mir swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
