Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Stiglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, This Is War. Hugo Stiglitz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Stiglitz! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.

Diaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stiglitz. Diaz punishes Stiglitz's body with a nice straight punch. Jab from Diaz. Diaz throws a lazy right hand but Stiglitz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Diaz looks for a takedown but Stiglitz sprawls well. Diaz throws a leg kick but Stiglitz checks it. Diaz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stiglitz to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stiglitz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Diaz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stiglitz's back instead. Diaz missing with punches from the back.

Diaz is trying to stick to Stiglitz's back but Stiglitz is turning into Diaz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Diaz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Stiglitz. Stiglitz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Diaz has his foot on Stiglitz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stiglitz works his way back into a safe position though.
Diaz looking for a triangle here. Stiglitz is fighting it but it looks tight! Diaz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Stiglitz is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Nick Diaz!
