The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Nogueira Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Nogueira Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nogueira Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie scores with a takedown into Nogueira Jr's guard.
Nogueira Jr had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gracie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nogueira Jr Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gracie's back instead.
Nogueira Jr keeps control of the position as Gracie tries to break free.
Nogueira Jr working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Gracie is doing well to defend. Nogueira Jr seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Gracie is forced to tap and this one is over!
