Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seth Blind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Canton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Blind!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Canton!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Seth Blind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blind looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Blind wants the takedown. Canton is fighting it off but Blind persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Canton's guard against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Blind thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Canton is looking to stand up but Blind isn't so interested in that idea.
Blind stands and throws Canton's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Blind scores with a couple of short elbows.

Blind tries to score with some ground and pound. Canton controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Canton takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Canton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Blind is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Canton has escaped the position, nice work there.
Blind really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Blind is pressing down on Canton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Canton is holding on for now.
Blind takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Blind has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Blind goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Canton is on top in guard.

Blind looking for a triangle here. Canton is fighting it but it looks tight! Blind pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Canton is tapping out - this one is all over!
