Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Panse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panse comes into the arena with Brazilian Music Series blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panse fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Panse decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Montoya tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Panse has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Panse throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Montoya because Panse loaded up on that one.
Panse with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Panse is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Montoya is in all sorts of trouble here.
Montoya is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Panse wants to control the pace but Montoya is squirming around nicely.
Panse goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Montoya turns into him and now he's in Panse's guard.
Panse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Montoya gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Montoya has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Panse is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Montoya stopping the sweep attempt from Panse.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A left and a right from Montoya both land. Nice combination.
Panse is breathing heavily.
Montoya goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hidalgo Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montoya connects with a right hand. Panse shakes it off.
Montoya gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Montoya wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Montoya wants to stand but Panse is controlling the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Panse wants to control from the top but Montoya keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hidalgo Montoya will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Panse gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Montoya keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Montoya lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Montoya drops Panse with a beautiful combination! Panse stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Montoya is looking for the KO!
Panse is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Montoya stalks Panse and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Panse's face. Panse staggers backwards, shaken.
Oh Panse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Montoya lands with a right and another and another! Panse is in big trouble! Montoya lands again and this time it's lights out for Panse! A quality knockout there for Montoya.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hidalgo Montoya!
